Can I give zero stars? If you are an injured employee and get stuck with Federated to manage your claim, please prepare yourself for the WORST treatment of your life. Even if you are hurt and cannot work, you will get snide comments and rude behavior and the bare minimum of service.

I just have one word for my experience: DISGUSTING. Shame on this company.

WORSE INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. Small businesses NEVER EVER should trust ANYONE with this company. They WAY OVERCHARGE and refuse to give you a breakdown of what you pay for! They CHARGED me for TWO locations and I only own ONE LOCATION and ONE BUSINESS! When I brought it

to their attention I was told I'm being RUDE. I hope this post reaches someone who doesn't make the same mistake.

I have a hardware store with a rental operation. When we started as a new customer we explained to them who and what the business was. I was a customer of theirs for 6 months paid them over $30,000 in that 6 months and unfortunately to everyone involved

had a loss of equipment due to theft for about $20,000. We had a customer pay for a rental then a week later stole the unit, we contacted local police and had a GPS on the unit and tried very hard to recover. After a month of trying decided to officially file the claim with Federated. They denied the claim because we willing "gave" the customer the unit and it was not stolen. The told me see page 97/303 section 2 part C. Think of the stereotypically sleazy insurance company who takes your money but when you have a claim acts like you are trying to steal from them. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Very frustrating to go through the entire process just a year ago to change all of our insurance needs to federated only to have them come and say they are non-renewing ALL towing companies. We have never made a claim. Very deceiving.

Federated Insurance. WOW WHAT A MISTAKE WE MADE SWITCHING TO FEDERATED FOR OUR SMALL BUSINESS! They will match any rates to suck you in and with no claims. A 100% claim free Company they will raise tour rates completely over the top on your second year with no advisory from their agents. 3

months in to our second year and already changing. Dont fall into the BS of how great they are because it is unfounded .

I had a hired licensed plumber insured by Federated cause a leak in pipes being installed that ran down through 3 floors of my home including office and rental space. At first Federated came immediately to the scene and got me connected through their contractors. They gave me a

partial payment for repairs. As abatement progressed though they stopped paying me and refused to pay their referred contractors and wouldn't accept all the claims the repair people told them was necessary! It has been since June of 2019 that I have been waiting for ANY payment with their excuse to NOT cover and only pay out more if I agreed in writing to less. When I spoke up through 3 chains of representatives and supervisors I was mansplained, laughed at and repeatedly told NO to paying debts incurred- the whole plumbing had to be redone and they even refused that. This involved other companies that I will name later if this isn't settled by April, 2020 as it is now that year.
